Informational Workshop on Chemistry and Applications of Ionic Liquids

Dear Colleague,
You are invited to attend a one-day "Informational Workshop on Chemistry and Applications of Ionic Liquids" to be held at Brookhaven National Laboratory on April 7, 2004. A growing number of researchers in the metropolitan area are studying the basic science and applications of ionic liquids. We aim to establish links and forge collaborations, such that researchers at different institutions can put their capabilities together and propose new applications and directions for study of ionic liquids. The symposium includes several short talks on a wide variety of topics, a poster session and roundtable discussion. The agenda is given below. We hope that you will be interested in joining us. Please pass this information along to any of your colleagues who may also be interested in attending this symposium

Posters: Poster boards (4' x 4') will be available on easels. If you would like to participate in the poster presentations, space is still available.
