Goals:
(1) To bring awareness of ionic liquids, their properties and applications to a larger community of researchers.
(2) To bring together researchers in the fields of ionic liquids and material sciences in the NY/NJ area and introduce them to the New York Regional Alliance for Ionic Liquid Studies (NYRAILS)
(3) To foster ties between industrial scientists interested in using ionic liquids and basic scientists with experience in ionic liquids.
